Robbie is an international research executive and board-level advisor with nearly two decades of experience spanning equity research, technology market intelligence, and global strategy. Based in Dubai, he currently serves as Senior Research Director at IDC, where he leads a worldwide team spanning from China to the United States. He advises C-suite executives, Fortune Global 500 leadership, and government ministries on market entry, digital transformation, and strategic growth.
He began his career as a rated sell-side Equity Analyst at Merchantec Capital in Johannesburg, delivering equity research, valuations, and institutional fund manager briefings on JSE-listed technology firms. Robbie’s combination of South African capital markets experience and extensive global technology leadership provides Vachellia Investments with sharp financial oversight and cross-border strategic vision.
